A Sky of Deepest Blue Under the moonlit sky of deepest blue The sigh of a lover was but a croon Carried amongst the winds to the east Unbeknownst to he, but the sound of soft falling leaves. Her eyes aglow with love so pure, A love that shall never endure For he knows not of what she feels And loves another, a love so real. Under the moonlit sky of deepest blue Cold winds blow through and through As tears falls from eyes that shine With love that is left behind. As dawn draws near from a sky no longer blue Her love for him was no longer true. For as her love fades away, So too her soul in grief and pain. Gliding with the wind
